Refund & Returns Policy
General Refund Policies:
- No Refunds After Work Commences: Many services stipulate that once work has begun, refunds are not issued due to the time-intensive nature of audio production. For example:
- All sales are final once work begins on a project.
- No refunds after work has commenced; however, revisions are allowed until final approval is received.
- Refunds Before Work Begins: Some providers offer refunds if the project hasn’t started, often minus a preparation fee. Sound Stage charges a 25% fee for cancellations before work commences.
Revision Policies:
- Revisions: Sound Stage, offers 3 revisions per track.
- Mastering Revisions: Mastering includes 2 revisions. Mastering revisions give you the peace of mind that the end result is going to be exactly as you want it. On the rare occasion you exceed 2 revisions, you can always purchase more via our revisions and re-runs page.
If you need to change the mix in any way after mastering there is a master re-run fee of INR1,000. This small charge covers the engineers time to recall the mastering chain and re-record the updated master.
Best Practices Before Purchasing:
- Review Terms and Conditions: Always read the service provider’s terms and conditions to understand their refund and revision policies.
- Communicate Clearly: Ensure clear communication regarding expectations, deadlines, and deliverables to avoid misunderstandings.
Test with a Single Track: If unsure about the service quality, consider testing with a single track before committing to a full project.
